NJ Tea
Ceanothus americanus is a species of shrub native to North America. Common names include New Jersey tea, and Jersey tea. I was called New Jersey tea during the American Revolution, because its leaves were used in place of imported tea.
Ceanothus americanus is a shrub that grows to between 18 and 42 inches high.
NJ Tea blooms from May to June.
